I have actually managed to see this, after waiting for over a year and couldn't figure out why there is so much trouble getting it released.  Some have speculated it's because of the theme, gay con man, and perhaps it is indirectly.  After all it didn't get picked up by Sony Pictures Classics.  Turns out there is some problem with the distributor who did pick it up paying what they promised to producer Besson, and he's right, he's got to stand up for right to be paid.  Love the film and will post my full review when it does finally open.
